New work asks everyone to take a chance, the writers, the actors, and the creative team, bringing it to life for the first time.

This feels especially important when the work takes on complex topics and opens the door to conversations that matter.

KOTA Productions is proud to bring Sound Mind: A New Musical to the NYC stage, and support new work that challenges and connects.

✨ MATILDA - THE MUSICAL ✨

More than 100 artists came together from across the country to bring MATILDA to life at Theatre Row!

We started with three weeks of rehearsals on Zoom and then had one week together in NYC to put everything on its feet. So many tireless hours went into making this show happen, both onstage and behind the scenes. Our performers worked alongside an incredible creative and production team, gaining real experience in a professional theatrical environment while learning, growing, and challenging themselves along the way.

Cast members came together from different places and backgrounds, supported one another through the process, and shared an experience and memories that will extend far beyond their time onstage.

That is such an important part of what KOTA is about. The NYC performances are exciting, but the process of creating the show together, and the relationships built along the way, are just as meaningful.

We are so proud of everything this team accomplished and so grateful to every single person who helped make our sold-out run of Matilda so special. 💙✨🦎📚
