Artistic Noise brings the power of artistic practice to youth who are system-involved and others throughout the community. Our work ranging from Harlem-based community settings to detention facilities supports the positive reentry for youth and also provides preventive care for those in need. Artistic Noise workshops allow youth to reflect on their experiences and examine complex socio-political issues in a safe and structured environment.

Please join us on Tuesday, December 13th at our upcoming book launch and celebration of 20 Years of Making Artistic Noise: Voices from the Village, edited by Ebony Walcott.

Refreshments will be served at 7:00pm, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Chloe Hayward, Director of Education at The Studio Museum in Harlem. In addition, we will be honoring our outgoing Executive Director, Curtis D. Young and celebrating the creativity and community that makes up Artistic Noise.

On September 17th from 3-5PM, Artistic Noise board members will host our first fundraiser of the new program year in Brooklyn! As we continue to expand our footprint in the city, we are so excited to host this event and share our mission with new friends and supporters. The event will be hosted at Ode to Babel, a Black-owned business in Prospect Heights, and will be open to the public. We request a donation of at least $50 per person, with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting Artistic Noise's critical work and programming.
