For our last week in Mexico City 🇲🇽, our Director and Curator Maddy Rosenberg met with artist Alejandra España for an in-depth studio visit focused on her artist’s books.

They also had the opportunity to tour her solo exhibition at CAM, which includes her paintings and ceramics. On Sunday, they attended Microhistorias at Teatro del Bosque—a performance of her work on stage featuring Malcolm Méndez and a string orchestra.

We are pleased to welcome Alejandra, a multi-disciplinary artist, to CENTRAL BOOKING soon...

We look forward to continuing to grow our international community of artists and to returning to Mexico next year!

Our Director and Curator, Maddy Rosenberg, is back in Mexico City for a month-long work trip, continuing to strengthen the connections we began building last year as CENTRAL BOOKING’s international community grows.

From morning walks through Viveros Park and the river paths of Coyoacán to wandering through the local markets and discovering a book fair, the days have been full of unexpected encounters... even a spontaneous chocolate tasting!
