After a month of bringing “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar” to parks across New York City, we’re closing our 2026 season this Sunday, July 5, at 7:00 PM at Castle Clinton in The Battery.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us this summer. We can’t wait to share one final evening of free Shakespeare with you. Reserve your FREE tickets at nyclassical.org/caesar!

Please note: Due to a World Cup-related event in The Battery, Sunday’s performance will be stationary inside Castle Clinton. Capacity is limited, so we encourage everyone to arrive early.

PERFORMANCE CANCELLATION NOTICE: Due to continued extreme heat conditions, we have canceled tonight’s 7:00 PM performance to keep our audiences, actors, and crew safe.

We will continue monitoring conditions closely this week and will share updates as soon as decisions are made. Before heading to the park at any point this week, please check the banner at the top of our website for the latest performance status.
