Artist Augustin Kelvin Holder presents Somewhere Between, a body of work that moves through the same currents as the music unfolding on stage.

Just as the Afro-Caribbean Steel & Brass Orchestra brings together traditions from Senegal to the Virgin Islands to New Orleans, Holder’s paintings navigate the layered terrain of the diaspora identity, memory, and transformation.

His abstract language, bold, textured, and symbolic, does not illustrate the Caribbean; it reclaims it as a living, evolving conversation.

Through his recurring figure, Mr. Nocturnal, Holder invites us into a space where the personal and the collective meet, where myth, migration, and modern life coexist.

This is the essence of walking together.

The orchestra builds it in Rhythm, Steel Pan, Sabar drums, Brass, and Improvisation.

From the stage to the courtyard, this evening becomes more than a performance.

It is a shared language of the diaspora, heard, seen, and felt.

Experience it at The Forum!
