This week, the Kibbutznik camp welcomed Yuliya Patrakova, an Artist in Residence, to lead us in an artistic expression of the Wizard of Oz themes and values. We began by making our amulets on Monday, creating secret lights on Tuesday, and finished the week by talking about transformations and what it takes to realize one's potential while making our own masks. We have also played, read, swam, and escaped the heat on a special trip! Shabbat Shalom from Kibbutznik.

Last weekend, Kibbutznik families gathered at Club Getaway for a Shabbat Family Retreat to welcome, celebrate, learn, create, and rest. Time families spend together is an investment in the community's future, and an opportunity to pass down traditions L'dor Va'Dor (from generation to generation).
