The 3-day festival includes free live-streamed performances, family singalongs, film screenings, the famous Banjo Toss contest (this year as a video game!) and more, plus ticketed music and dance workshops and special events. We are stoaked to announce that will be joining us this year for the Brooklyn Folk Festival!

You can catch him on the Main stage Sunday, November 8th at 8:30 PM.

Bonnie “Prince” Billy is the long-running musical project of Will Oldham, whose music blends folk, country, and experimental sounds with remarkable emotional depth. For over 30 years, his prolific output and singular voice have made him a defining figure in contemporary independent music. Earlier this year he released ‘We Are Together Again’ A wonderfully contemplative album full of incredible instrumentation and an incredible sense of human beauty. We are so excited to see what he will bring to the stage this November!

Get ready for the powerhouse that is for over a decade this duo has been winning over audiences with their powerful voices and beautiful musicianship. You can find them on the Mainstage On Friday, November 6th at 9:30 PM!

The Canadian partnership, including Lisa Maria Bates and Amy Lou Keeler, blends folk traditions of Appalachia, Nova Scotia, Ukraine, and the Celtic nations into a haunting, heartwarming sound that feels nostalgic and timeless. Their debut album, Count the Wicked, won them the Canadian Folk Music Award for Ensemble of the Year in 2017. Since then, they haven’t stopped creating incredible music, and you don’t want to miss an opportunity to see them live.

Their music is released through an independent label celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. For two decades, Free Dirt has worked with established legends as well as helped to introduce some of the finest contemporary American roots artists. We are beyond ecstatic to welcome back to the Brooklyn Folk festival!
C**j first graced the jalopy stage last year and we fell in love with his wonderful storytelling, yodeling, and his presence. We just had to invite him back this year.

Agalisiga grew up in the foothills of the Ozarks in a small traditional Cherokee community. He was immersed in the language, culture, and musical traditions of his family. A gifted singer and songwriter, he is also inspired by traditional country and western music and bridges his worlds with a powerful voice.

What a treat to have Come perform this November at the Brooklyn Folk fest. You can find them on the mainstage Friday, November 6th at 10:20 PM.

The Deslondes are a five piece band hailing from New Orleans with influences ranging from blues to swamp pop. They recently released an album, featuring covers of songs the band loves, some of them by their heroes and some by their friends. This band brings a special rootsy energy to everything they do and you don’t want to miss the magic they bring to the stage.

We are so beyond honored to share that the legendary Sheila Kay Adams () will be gracing our stage alongside Donna Ray Norton () at the 2026 Brooklyn Folk Festival presented by .

Sheila Kay Adams will hit the Main Stage on Sunday, November 8th at St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn Heights.

A seventh-generation ballad singer, storyteller, and musician, Sheila Kay Adams was born and raised in the S***m Laurel community of Madison County, North Carolina, an area renowned for its unbroken tradition of unaccompanied ballad singing dating back to the early Scottish, Scots/Irish and English settlers in the mid-17th century.

We’re so ready to do it all again this November 6-8 at St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn Heights. The lineup is unreal and we have so much magic in store for you all! It’s our biggest event of the year and this one is going to be so very special.
