She’s back! We just launched Emily — No Prisoner Be for the start of our first European tour to a (very rare) standing ovation in Tampere, Finland. Quiet moments seeking out the immense and the micro beauty all around.

Thank you to everyone who has sent healing wishes to me these past few weeks - a rib bruise that wouldn’t stop the average civilian, but unfortunately side-lined this singer. HUGE shout-outs to the wonderful Christine Goerke for valiantly stepping in to Matthew Aucoin’s fab first symphony - and to the ever-divine Anthony Roth Costanzo for filling in with glorious song at the Aspen Music Festival and School. I was so sorry to miss it all.

Still, these weeks have been a beautiful gift, all things considered, and while I can’t wait to start the next leg of our tour, I’ll be savoring the incredible beauty of our complicated and awe-inducing world for a long time to come.

I’m a little late in posting, but that doesn’t diminish the pure joy around this award for “Opera Recording of the Year” from . This meaningful recognition represents a true crowning achievement, in particular, for the deeply talented and tireless orchestra and chorus of , led by the inspired and visionary . Of course, Dido is the dream role for any aspiring singer, and to have the chance to record her alongside a superbly talented cast surpassed my wildest dreams. We knew this was an incredibly special endeavor from the first rehearsal - what a beautiful gift to have that affirmed in such a meaningful way.

Ah … Mozart! He never, *ever* gets old. I’m elated to be closing out the 35th Mozart Festival with the Warsaw Chamber Opera in their open-air gala, led by Benjamin Bayl, alongside Tomasz Ritter (pianoforte), Lautaro Greco (Bandeneon) and the Vocal Ensemble of the Warsaw Chamber Opera. I’ve grown to truly love my trips to Poland, and I know this night will be one to remember.

A dream of a concert tonight at Carnegie Hall with the exceptional MET Orchestra and Yannick Nézet-Séguin delving into the incredible world of Mahler with his Rückert Lieder and the divine 4th Symphony. (I’d like to state how excited I am, as well, to take this on the road at the end of August to London, Lucerne & Paris!) See you there!

I have the most incredible memories of performing in Japan and Asia, and each time I have the fortune of returning I know that magic will absolutely ensue!

It’s been over 10 years since I’ve had the honor of returning to Tokyo and I simply cannot WAIT.

Combine that with the opportunity to revisit Songplay with these incredible musicians by my side, and I simply cannot imagine a better way to close out what has been a MONUMENTAL season, in every way.
