FROM THE NEW YORK UNDERGROUND TO DISNEY HALL
Last night was a major milestone taking the stage at the Walt Disney Concert Hall with the Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra. The acoustic power of the full choir and orchestra in that room was incredible—you can hear the energy in the clip.
Looking out from the stage, it felt like a complete full-circle swing back to why I love playing the cello. Long before the rock-and-roll years where we landed major label record deals with both 9 Ways to Sunday and Psychotica, and worked on independent projects with artists like River Phoenix, my foundation was built in the discipline of the New York youth orchestras and classical conservatories.
My only wish is that my dear friend Patrick Briggs was here to see this. I know he would have loved it.
From classical foundations to rock rebellion, and right back to the majestic beauty of the orchestra—the cello takes you on a wild ride, but the music always brings you home.
Psychotica family, thank you for always being part of the journey. 🖤

A collection of Patrick’s hats he left when he passed.

We miss you Patrick.

The creative world of Paul Kostabi, our very own ENA. You can get a glimpse of his visual and sonic art tomorrow at the opening reception for his solo exhibition, "RESONANCE," at GARNER Arts Center. It’s a powerful experience of movement—geographic, psychological, and cultural. We're honored to be a part of it, and we're excited to see our brother, the great cellist Cris Henry Tiru, appearing as well.
