🇲🇽 Mexico City — From October 5–11, 2026, Mexico City will once again become a global hub for innovation and creative excellence with the opening of Design Week Mexico 2026 ( ). This edition embraces a significantly broader and more diverse curatorial vision, inviting both the public and design professionals to reflect on design through global, fluid, and inclusive perspectives that move beyond traditional approaches. Design Week México

Within this international framework, Chile takes center stage as the Guest Country of Honor. The work of leading Chilean designers will be showcased across DWM26’s various platforms, fostering a meaningful dialogue on the identity and future of design throughout Latin America.
The event also celebrates the continuation of its longstanding strategic partnership with France. Through its cross-cultural residency program, French designers will collaborate directly with Mexican artisans, creating a unique dialogue between Mexico’s traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design practices.

The public is invited to experience the opening week of Design Week Mexico from October 5–11, while the main exhibitions will remain open throughout October 2026, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the richness and diversity of this year’s program.

A modular sofa that lets you create your own composition. ✨

ARPEGGIO is a seating system made up of free-form elements that can be combined in countless ways, adapting to homes, offices, and contract spaces.

Its harmonious silhouette pairs comfortable independent cushions with a distinctive metal base, available in three collection colors. Different combinations of colors, fabrics, and textures allow each configuration to feel unique — whether discreet or designed to become the focal point of a space.

Inspired by the harmony of music, ARPEGGIO turns seating into a flexible, personal element that can evolve according to different needs and environments.

Another favorite discovered at Feria de Diseño Medellín. 🇨🇴

Tramadas, the collaborative practice of textile artists and designers Juliana González and Alejandra Arenas, transforms pre-consumer textile waste from Colombia’s garment industry into new material for creation.

Their Remanente series explores the accumulation of textile waste as a landscape, preserving its colors, textures, and traces of origin. Through horizontal loom weaving, the material is reorganized into new forms without erasing its history.

For Juliana and Alejandra, waste is not simply something discarded—it is material, memory, and possibility.

One of the pieces that caught our eye during La Feria De Diseño powered by idd cologne Medellín. 🇨🇴

Lúcida transforms visual art into collectible, handcrafted objects. Their KOI lamps, inspired by the Japanese legend of the fish that overcomes the current to become a golden dragon, symbolize perseverance, strength, and good fortune.

Each lamp becomes a unique three-dimensional canvas, hand-painted in Colombia by visual artists Camila Barreto and Giovanni Randazzo. Their gestures, colors, and compositions bring a distinct energy to every limited-edition piece.
