FunikiJam World Music & Theatricals FunikiJam: Where Music & Fun Meet! 🎶 Join our Family Musical Adventures to Discover & JAM Together! the FunikiJam curriculum is offered at several preschools.

FunikiJam was launched in 1999 to provide music-related education for kids. Daily “classes” – they’re really more like performances, with the kids in starring roles – are offered in various locations in New York City. The classes are interactive and fun and incorporate a variety or world cultures through the use of such instruments as drums and maracas. The idea is to spark little ones’ interest in music and nurture those who have already shown an aptitude. Classes are offered for newborns on up to around eight years old. This isn’t a day care center, however - a parent or other caregiver must accompany children. FunikiJam’s unique concept took off quickly in Nashville and is now delighting New York City. In addition to music classes, camps, and parties, FunikiJam performances are held at such lofty venues as the Ryman Auditorium. Drop in for onetime class, sign up for a package of classes, book a party, or join a summer camp. Call for complete calendar. Programs are built upon a foundation of original songs, stories, rhymes, and chants designed to promote the development of young minds and bodies. A multiple BEST OF PARENTING winner, FunikiJam programs are approved by kids, parents, and teachers.
