THe Enlightenment of Mr Mole

A big hello to the wide world. All of us here ,on the riverbank, are well . At the moment, we are getting ready for the “long sleep “ that will enable us to survive until next Spring. Mr Toad has a large supply of food and fuel to get him through the winter months. Alfred has ordered a haystack.
The weasels and stoats have their own quarters in Toad Hall so all is well with them. Ratty and I have stocked up and our larder is complete. Although the “big cold” is a little way off it is wise to be prepared.
Mr Badger is ,as always,Mr Badger. We see him every now and again, and he has adopted the family of field mice who are living with him and who are taking care of his underground home and him. The Chief Weasel has been put in charge of the wild wood and has to report to Mr Badger .
Please take care of the wide world ,we are relying on you.
We heard of the loss of your Queen and our thoughts are with you.

Ratty and Mole are looking forward to the new year. This New Year’s Eve they are meeting up with Toad, Badger , and Alfred, who says , he will try and make it if the chess finals , which he is in, finishes before midnight. They both sympathize with the outside world and wish that you could be able to be with your friends like theyare able to do.They will raise a glass to your good health. Wishing you a much better year.

Just because the news on Mr Mole has been scarce doesn’t mean he hasn’t been busy. On a daily basis his life and his adventures have been seen by many. Dark is the tunnel where he lives but bright is the future that lies ahead. Onward and upward,up we go , up we go.

So at the moment the play has gone to a reviewing board to make sure the content does not contain material which could be offensive. I am not sure that Mr Toad's speeches will hold up !!!!!
