Sometime ago I was struck with the idea to make simple watercolor paintings, then sell prints. It was the perfect culmination of so may things I love doing: sharing my love of all things geeky, making crafty bits, photography, a way to exercise my entrepreneurial spirit and, of course, a way to generate a little extra (much needed) cash flow. The entire process is done by me, and goes something al

I create the art
I photograph the art
I edit the art
I test print on crappy paper, then re-edit
I print a finalized version on the high quality paper
I photograph the finalized version in a frame for posting to the internets. I make new art

I paint on cold press watercolor paper, shoot with a DSLR, print using a large format photo printer, and ship using up-cycled materials. I don't stop tweaking and proofing until the results are as good as I can make them given the resources available to me at the moment. I absolutely love the entire process of it, frustrating though it may be at times. I genuinely hope the folks who receive my art enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. My goal is to drop a new piece every Tuesday. I know it's a lofty goal considering I'm still working two jobs but I'm ambitious. Plus I'm fortunate enough to have an amazing support group of family and friends who keep me on my toes. I have an Instagram account I share to daily as well as a page.
