She has worked in various aspects of the entertainment business, most notably managing the career of pop singer Rihanna. Christa co-owned and operated music management firm Rebel One Management, taking a hands-on approach to crafting the career and image of Rihanna, as well as other internationally known artists. Prior to that she was the Senior A&R Director at BMG Chrysalis where she was instrumental in cultivating new business and played a pivotal role in the signings of major pop/R&B artists & songwriters such as the Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Toby Gad (writer, Beyoncé’s “Like A Boy”) and West Indian Girl. Christa’s passion, diligence and keen music sensibility resulted in the company’s highest profitability and notoriety in 40 years. She headed a successful creative services and A&R department at BMG and obtained music promotional opportunities for major clients such as NASCAR, Electronic Arts (EA) and the National Football League, producing original music for NASCAR and NFL programming. Christa began her career at Cherry Lane Music Publishing (which was acquired by BMG in 2009) as an A&R manager. She has extensive experience in publicity and crisis management, as well as talent management and artist development. She is a graduate of Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a degree in Marketing and Music Business.
