Can Anyone Learn to Sing?
As a karaoke enthusiast perhaps the most frequently asked question I get is “can all of us learn to sing?’
My answer has always been “yes”.
I say “yes” because most times I find it’s just a matter confidence. In our lives we often find ourselves in situations where we are required to sing… and we do! Events such as family gatherings, when all of our inhibitions are down and we are completely comfortable in our environment we sing without giving it second thoughts. Few of us has never sang “Happy birthday” for example, to a loved one.
At karaoke bars the main error we come across are persons trying to sing with their talking voice. We speak in a low and limited range while singing requires a higher range. Using your talking voice to sing would cause a ‘breaking’ in your voice as your voice is not normally used to such a high range. So we have to learn breathing techniques to support these higher singing ranges. Persons can join a church or school choir, the directors there, are often willing to work with persons that are interested in singing. Most likely this would be free and it gives you the opportunity to sing in public and in turn gain your confidence. Experienced vocal coach, Melanie Alexander could help anyone become a better singer. Ms. Alexander’s coaching would quickly help get rid of that vocal ‘break’ and assist you to reach higher notes with effortless vocal agility. https://hop.clickbank.net/?affiliate=Onemark1&vendor=singorama&tid=yourtracking&type=

Also, we tend to compare ourselves with others. We listen to our friends sing and they sound so much better than us so we conclude we can’t sing. What we are not aware of is that that friend, knowing they will be attending this karaoke session, identified a song or two that they will be singing and familiarized themselves with the lyrics and beat of the song they practiced... So they approach the microphone confident they will sound great because they practiced. Singing is more a skill than it is a talent. A combination of the two, skill and talent, is what makes some of us professional singers. So anyone with hard work and practice can become a better singer.
