Last Looks — Closing Reflection

As Modern Art Exhibition approaches its final day, Brownstract Art Studio invites visitors to take one last, unhurried look. Within the historic architecture of Main Street Station, these layered works explore movement, structure, memory, and the quiet emotions that exist beneath the surface.

Creativity isn’t limited by the tools you can afford.

For this abstract piece, I stepped beyond the traditional paintbrush using squeegees, silk-screen tools, reclaimed wood, brick, and even crushed cashews to create texture and movement.

As the layers dry, unexpected forms begin to emerge: earth tones, landscapes, dry lakes, dreams, and shapes that feel like a plane preparing to touch down.

That’s the beauty of creating—working with what you have and allowing the materials to reveal something you never expected.
