To all our beloved artists and friends.

We are closing a dear dear chapter of our life these coming two Fridays, July 8th and 15th. Our company of 15 years will be closing its doors for good. And we are bidding farewell with an epic concert at The Public Theater of our greatest numbers featuring an all star cast.

We really hope you will join us in saying goodbye. A handful of beautiful souls have offered to buy tickets for any artists who may find the ticket price a barrier. If you want a comp. Just let us know. DM us or message Christian at 3476075839. No questions asked. We just want to share this beautiful and meaningful work with you as we bid farewell.

Much love to you all.

Tonight's the night! Do you have tickets yet?

ACEDIA: An Apocalypse Trilogy. A cheery exploration of the morose and existential. A theatrical experience. A celebration of apocalyptic turmoil and the collapse of the inner self. Fun. Painful. A question. Three plays that stand alone or can be experienced as a collective. Acedia: the lost name for the emotion we’re all feeling. A state of listlessness or torpor. An inert state without pain or care.

MEET THE ACTORS!

Caro Guzmán (She/Her) is a Queens-bred, Afro-Latina actor with an appetite for collaborating in thought-provoking works with fellow Black and Brown artists. She acquired acting training from Atlantic Theatre Company’s Acting Conservatory as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and recently starred in the award-winning indie film “Motions”—an official selection at The Chelsea Film Festival and New York Latino Film Festival. Caro is incredibly humbled to be working on the raw, honest piece that is Acedia alongside incredible talents.

Fish Food for Feelings (ACEDIA Part 2): Set on the eve of The Apocalypse- Four adopted siblings meet at an abandoned cabin on the 2nd anniversary of their parents’ death. The middle child has recently undergone a procedure to have his feelings removed. As the siblings struggle to reconcile their differences his psychotherapist shows up in the middle of the night along with an eccentric singer who claims to be the physical manifestation of the middle child’s removed feelings.
