Schaller’s Stube sausage bar
“Gennaro Eats” episode 6 (extended cut)
Gennaro is the Upper East Side for some sausages and pretzels when he visit Schaller's Stube Sausage Bar. Chef Jake Sa'fontanilla will be making Gennaro the Saigon Special, with Bauernwurst, daikon, carrot slaw, cucumber, fresh jalapeños, cilantro and Sriracha aioli. And no trip to the Stube is complete without a huge German soft pretzel covered in liptauer cheese. Schaller’s Stube is an offshoot of Schaller & Weber German butcher that’s been a NY staple since 1937.

"Gennaro Eats" Episode 5: Vinegar Hill House (extended cut)
This week we're headed to Brooklyn to meet chef Nicole Karr of Vinegar Hill House and she's making fresh pasta for Gennaro! She's not only an amazing chef she's also the author of "Handmade Pasta Workshop & Cookbook." In this extended cut, you'll get to see chef Nicole make pasta and then prepare Squid Ink Tajarin with nduja, pork belly and littleneck clams for Gennaro. If you haven't been, Vinegar Hill House is on a beautiful, picturesque cobblestone street near the Brooklyn waterfront in Vinegar Hill.

This week we're visiting Chef David Malbequi of David's Cafe in the East Village in NYC. Chef David is an alum of Daniel Boulud and also worked at BLT. David's Cafe is focused on American food through his French lens (he calls it "Frenchy does American"). In this extended cut episode, Chef David cooks for Gennaro Octopus a la Plancha with feta cheese, preserved lemon, spicy oil, black olive and coulis scallions.
