ATWATER REED ARTISTS is ecstatic to share about our new tenor, SIMON KYUNG LEE’S recent success as Cavaradossi in “Tosca” at Schloss Braunsfels in Braunfels, Germany, also on the heels of his triumph with Opera Classica Europa the evening before in Wetzlar, Germany. Of Simon’s August 8th performance, Operngenuss im Schlosshof stated: “Simon Kyung Lee impressed as Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini’s Tosca at the historic Schloss Braunfels. The German press praised the principal cast for their strong stage presence and well-trained voices, specifically highlighting Lee’s performance as Cavaradossi. His rendition of the famous aria ‘E lucevan le stelle’ was described as seemingly effortless, creating a particularly memorable moment beneath the starry sky of the historic castle courtyard.” We continue to be extremely excited about this astonishing tenor, who consistently earns rave reviews for his fantastic performances!
