Thanks to the New York Times for this comprehensive article on John Dowland, and don’t miss Paul O’Dette’s all-Dowland program on May 17th at the Abigail Adams Smith Auditorium!

Dowland, who died 400 years ago, spun out sad songs that were popular in his time and continue to influence artists today.

Thank you to all of our gifted artists, our enthusiastic audience and volunteers, our most generous co-producer, the Museum at Eldridge Street and other supporters for a smashing success on Sunday. Salon Sanctuary Concerts remains the *only* United States presenter to offer the *complete and unabridged* version of Stradella's exquisite 1673 masterwork Ester Liberatrice del Popolo Ebreo, and it was our great honor to present the piece in the museum's stunning 1887 sanctuary. Bravi tutti!

Jessica Gould, Sonia Tedla, Kinneret Ely, Paul Max Tipton, Salvo Vitale, Matthew Curran, Ian Jones, Kiyoun Jang, Adam Young, Andrea Damiani, Cameron Khan
