Linda Vista marks Jamesβs full-length directorial debut. He brings nearly 30 years of experience as an actor and acting teacher to the process, with an approach grounded in collaboration, emotional depth, and an interest in the spiritual potential of theatre. He has directed student productions at the American Conservatory Theater, a half dozen self-revelatory solo shows, a workshop production of Krappβs Last Tape, and is developing an ensemble adaptation of Tongues by Sam Shepard. As an actor, he has performed in New York City and at regional theatres around the country such as the American Conservatory Theatre, San Jose Rep, Theatre @ Boston Court, San Francisco Playhouse, The Magic Theatre, L.A. Theatre Works, and many others. He is grateful for the opportunity to bring his years of experience as an actor and teacher to this first full-length production as a director.
