💗🌺So proud and grateful for my Lei Pasifika family for representing at the Dance Parade this year. These dancers worked their butts off for months, dedicating themselves to learning and honoring a culture that may have been new to some of them, but their passion, respect, and drive have been incredible to witness.
Through every long rehearsal, challenge, and hard moment, we continued to push through together as a team. What started as a dance group has truly become family. In a city where so many of us came from different places, we found a home away from home in each other here in New York. 💚
Thank you all for your commitment, heart, and love for the culture. I’m beyond grateful to share this journey with you and hope we continue dancing together for many years to come. 🌺✨
