CartoonBob Studios I have been a cartoonist as long as I can remember. http://www.cartoonbob.com

I learned much from my Uncle Leonardo, back in the 1400's before the family name changed from Davinci to D'Amico.

— I enjoy portraying these scourge entities as pimples on Uncle Sam's back. If enough voters get on board and oppose what's cooking with those four pimples, we can turn things around. Start by passing the SAVE AMERICA Act to get an ID requirement to vote and keep elections honest.

— Cyber ink is still wet on this brand new InterPretations political cartoon that I just wrote. Can't believe that after getting its ass handed to it numerous times, IRAN is interrupting this late, last offering of negotiations with a new set of demands. Thoughts? Here's how it looks to me:

— I now have SEVEN pages from book 3 in my Silver Fox series done. I'll stop to make the last couple of corrections the proofreader found and prepare/upload the files to Kindle for book 2. I'm having fun being my own client for book illustration and humorous writing for a change.

— The first book of my 'Reflections Of A Silver Fox' series just went up on Amazon for sale. 'The ART of Turning 76!'

Here's the blurb from the back cover: "Ever wonder what happens when wisdom, wit, and a dash of eccentricity collide at 76? Welcome to the zany universe of a self-proclaimed “Silver Fox”—a master of mischief who can outwit bingo night, out-dance the grandkids (on good days), and (sometimes) even remember where the remote is. Here, aging isn’t about slowing down; it’s about revving up the scooter and laughing at every bump along the way.Join a riotous ride through seniorhood’s highs and lows, where “Going For Broke,” “Cake Face!,” and “Midair Ice Slip Thoughts” prove that laughter is the best medicine—especially when you forget where you left the real stuff.

Uncover what just might be a time portal to the 1980s in “Caso’s Video Store Basement” and face daily surprises (like finding your glasses...perched on your head) that keep life hilarious at every age. Meet prankster grandkids (“S.O.S. Snow Prank Kids”) and discover what the “Laundry Surprise” was... with only your dignity slightly wrinkled.Whether it’s “Pony Trekking In Wales” or surviving a “Christmas Tree Bonfire,” these tales prove that turning 76 is less about slowing down and more about laughing at the speed bumps.

With stories like “A Few Wild Oats Walked Into A Bar...” and “Auntie Pasta—Indeed!,” you’ll see that age is just a number—albeit one that sometimes forgets where it left its reading glasses.Flip to any page for laughter, wisdom, and tips on navigating life’s surprises with flair. This isn’t just a memoir—it’s a celebration of every silver strand, embraced with confidence and humor, and a guide for thriving at any age."

Book 2 is also done and being proofread now.

— I can’t say enough crap about the VILE democrats. If you are one and see this, feel free to block me. I’ve got nothing good to say. If you’re a true patriot like me, stay tuned for more.

— UAE will pull out of OPEC tomorrow, May 1st. That's a major change in the global oil market. I'm glad I have finally accepted help from a very fast and talented assistant cartoonist, Chat Gupta. I gave him my detailed description, and he whipped this political cartoon out for me in about 2 minutes. If I drew and colored it, it would've taken half my day.

— SIXTY-YEAR GAP! 1966 to 2026! I did the pencil rough of these personified art supplies way back in about 1966. (Yeah… I was 16 and a student at the NYC High School of Art & Design.) I found it in a box of old art and resurrected it into the color scene shown. Very satisfying completion of some of my earlier ideas. 😎

— Full circle. I did the pencil rough at some point over 50 years ago, and never finished the cartoon. I’ve been digging through boxes of old art from way back when, and found the pencil rough… and finished it today. Full circle, indeed! More will follow.
