🪙 WOULD YOU ACTUALLY BUY GOLD OR SILVER DISPLAYED LIKE THIS? 👀

Walked in and saw this glass case packed with gold, silver, coins, bars, and collectibles.

There are definitely some interesting pieces in there, but seeing precious metals sold alongside everything else made me curious what other collectors would think.

Stackers — would you buy from a display like this if the price was right, or would you walk away?

🪙 I’M 15 YEARS OLD AND THIS IS MY GOLD, SILVER, AND COPPER STACK SO FAR! 🔥

I started stacking back in 2023, and this is where I’m at today.

I’m thinking about focusing more on silver next, but I’m still learning and trying to make smart decisions as I build the collection over time.

Experienced stackers — what advice would you give someone my age who’s just getting started?

🟠 I STACK SILVER AND GOLD… BUT COPPER IS THE ONE I CAN ACTUALLY LEAVE ON DISPLAY! 😂

There’s something satisfying about having full stacks of copper sitting out without feeling like I’m displaying a small fortune.

Just to be clear, I definitely don’t consider these an investment. I actually use pure copper during my silver-refining process.

I found these cheaper than the C110 busbars I’d normally buy, so I figured why not? They’re useful when I need them and make a pretty cool display until then.

Stackers — anyone else keep copper around just because it looks awesome?

📦 I LOVE A GOOD MAIL CALL — $230 FOR EVERYTHING PICTURED! 🪙🔥

Just got this package in from a guy in the States that I connected with through Facebook.

Paid $230 for the entire lot, and there’s just something satisfying about opening a package full of new additions to the collection. 😂

Collectors and stackers — how do you think I did for $230?

🪙 ONE MONTH INTO STACKING — AND I’M ALREADY HOOKED! 🔥

Here’s my humble beginner stack so far!

I’m up to 13.5 oz of silver, with about 10 oz pictured here and even more already on the way. I’ve also picked up a few Goldbacks and a bunch of copper pieces that I just think look awesome. 😅

And before anyone asks — the copper is purely for collecting. I just like the way it looks!

Can’t wait to see how this stack grows over the next year.

Stackers — what would you recommend adding next to a beginner’s stack?

🪙 FIGURED I MIGHT AS WELL SHOW OFF THE SILVER WHILE I HAD IT ALL OUT! 😎

Had to take some pictures anyway, so here’s a look at most of my art and collectible silver collection.

This isn’t everything, but it’s definitely a good chunk of it. I’ve always enjoyed the pieces that have a little more personality than your standard bullion.

Stackers and collectors — which piece would you grab first if you could pick just ONE?

🪙 FRACTIONAL GOLD UPDATE — AND YES, I DOUBLED DOWN! 😂🔥

A couple weeks ago I shared my stack, and apparently my love for fractionals brought out the premium posse and the anti-Goldback association.

So I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize…

TO ABSOLUTELY NOBODY! 😂

Since that post, I’ve added roughly 2X more to the fractional collection. I also pulled out a few of my favorite pieces for a closer look.

Gold stackers — are you Team Fractional or would you rather save for full ounces?

🚨 WE WERE CLEANING OUT MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER’S OLD CLOTH SHOP AND FOUND A HUGE COLLECTION OF OLD COINS! 🪙

My great-grandfather used to run a cloth shop, and while cleaning it out recently, we discovered lots and lots of old coins that had apparently been sitting there for years.

Some are heavily circulated, while others still appear to be in surprisingly good condition.

I’m definitely not going to clean or polish anything until I know exactly what we have.

Coin collectors — if you discovered an old collection like this, what would you check first?

Dates, mint marks, condition, rare varieties? Any advice would be appreciated!

🪙 FINALLY ADDED SOME NEW PIECES TO THE METALS STACK — IT’S BEEN WAY TOO LONG!

It’s been a minute since I picked up anything new, so it felt really good adding a few more pieces to the collection.

There’s something about pulling the stack out, adding the new acquisitions, and seeing everything together again that makes you remember why you started. 😂

Definitely fun to be back!

Gold and silver stackers — which piece catches your eye first, and what have you added to your stack lately?

🪙 MY 10-YEAR-OLD JUST FOUND THIS ENTIRE PILE OF COINS IN A WALMART PARKING LOT! 😳

We were returning the shopping cart when my 10-year-old spotted all of these coins dumped on the ground.

My guess is someone tried putting them through the coin machine, they were rejected because of their condition, and the person decided they weren’t worth dealing with.

Whatever happened, you know we weren’t leaving them there! 😂

Now comes the fun part — going through every single one.

Coin collectors, would you search this pile carefully before doing anything with it? What would you be looking for first?
