Excited to report that the 2026 NYC Unicycle Festival has a home! The Saturday and Sunday activities will be taking place on 34th Avenue in Jackson Heights, Queens.

Produced by Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, the 17th annual festival features four days of one wheel festivities:
Thursday will be the Manhattan ride up the west side.
Friday is Brooklyn Unicycle Day with a ride over the Brooklyn Bridge to Coney Island. And Saturday and Sunday will be two days of workshops, games, demos, and more in Jackson Heights.

The 2025 Brooklyn Unicycle Day riders posing by the biggest wheel in Brooklyn, Deno's Wonder Wheel.

22 unicycle riders with three two whool support riders participated this year. 21 unicycle riders completed the 13+ mile trek across Brooklyn.

The 16th Annual NYC Unicycle Festival is off to a rolling start. This morning we had a crew of unicycle riders take to the airwaves, promoting the festival on Good Day New York. At the same time, a crew of riders took to the streets for a ride up the west side of Manhattan (Battery Park to Central Park).
And this just the start. Tomorrow we are celebrating Brooklyn Unicycle Day with a ride from the Brooklyn Bridge to Coney Island.

The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus is looking for volunteers for the 16th Annual NYC Unicycle Festival, taking place this year on August 28-31!

What kind of volunteers, you ask?
Two-wheeled bike escorts for the Brooklyn ride on Friday, August 29. The ride begins at City Hall in Manhattan at 2pm, crosses the Brooklyn Bridge, and ends in Coney Island. More info here: http://nycunifest.com/about/
Volunteers to help with setup, registration, and the learn-to-ride area at Pier 76 in Manhattan, Saturday, August 30 & Sunday, August 31.

Only a couple more weeks until the NYC Unicycle Festival rolls across town.

We are always looking for volunteers to help make it happen.
Especially looking for two wheel support (bicyclist) to join us for the Brooklyn Unicycle Day ride on August 29 and for assistance with activities/set up/tear-down on August 30 and 31 at Hudson River Park's Pier 76.
