“Lightness of Being”, 35x56”. An invitation to step inside the painting and immerse oneself into this scene. Watch the clouds and reflections moving…. Maybe take a red boat and slowly glide through the clear water. Or just inhale clean, after the rain air….Does this inspire you?🖼🎨🎨

The secret is out! Last week my portrait of Rabbi Haskel Lookstein was presented at the celebration of his 90th birthday as a surprise to him. A gift from the community done by a member of the community. As a member of this community for nearly 30 years, it was done with admiration and from the heart. Following in the footsteps of my father, late Marc Klionsky, an artist and a portrait painter, I feel humbled and honored to continue the tradition. 18x24”, oil on canvas.

Do you feel like taking one last dive in turquoise waters before the autumn crisp air and rain cover our land? I’m stretching my summer by having “Squeaker Cove” hang this month in One Art Space in Tribeca as part of 132nd Annual Members exhibition of National Association of Women Artists, the oldest women’s fine art organization in the country (founded in 1889). The show will open on Oct. 16- please come and enjoy!

I am donating “Morning in the Harbor” to the Mystic Aquarium auction to save beluga whales! 🐳 Mystic Aquarium focuses on conservation of our ocean and of beluga whales. 🐋
