Mike and I want to share our joy with our family and friends that after a very long and difficult journey, our baby is on the way. I have wanted to be a mother since I have dreamed of being a teacher and learning it wouldn’t be easy, took a toll on me, so much so, I sought a sabbatical from work to focus on making this happen.

It took countless blood draws, procedures, surgeries, hundreds and hundreds of pills, an early loss and exactly 211 shots of hormones to get to where I am today. I especially want to thank Mike for being the most dedicated and supportive husband during this process. We have been tested before, once again this past year, and we continue to keep on truckin’ stronger than ever. Also, thank you for the unending support of my friends and family that helped me get through this chapter in my life.

If anyone is going through infertility, I am here to listen and to talk. A common saying amongst the infertility community is: “it’s the worst club with the best members”. Support is key when going through a trying and isolating time. I thank my friends who have also went down this road, to help lift me up when I felt I couldn’t. ❤️
