New artwork 🌘

Have slowed down a lot in regards to pace in life. Compared to my college days, I am at a 50 to what used to be 100 haha. And I appreciate that a lot more lately. We have the rest of our lives to have it all figured out…and this collection is going to be an embodiment of that. I’m thinking of naming the new collection “Still as Water” but the final name is TBD.

Same techniques, but different emotions when painting it. ☺️

I painted this during a special time of my life. I was still living in New Jersey working my full time job. I was working on loving myself while living alone after my roommate left, and had a real taste of what it means to being fully independent. It was not easy, by any means.

Although it was difficult to come face to face with myself and my flaws, the love for myself grew gradually. In tandem, so did the love I had for someone I deeply cared about. That love inspired this piece, and it’s titled “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman” and it’ll launch in conjunction to my new collection “LUNA” on September 25th :)
