Here is a piece purchased for Sven, a residential project in Long Island City, New York.

designed by and captured sense of nature, calmness, peacefulness. Standard Arts curated a series of art and design pieces to reflect that essence.

If you don’t know about they are an art duo of and .hjorth who thoughtfully searches for meaningful locations in nature, senior models, creates wearable sculptures and takes these so wonderful photos.

For this NYC residential project, we collaborated with There are two towers with two separate elevator entrances from the main lobby. We selected artist Ricardo Rendon’s wall sculptures to create two separate identities but cohesively telling the same story of hells Kitchen’s history and architectural aesthetic, industrial and masculine yet warm and welcoming.

👁️One of our favorite projects: had the honor to curate this .chipperfield designed space on all aspects of art, design, lighting & objects. But what we appreciated, is to challenge the way we view a conventional living space.

In certain aspects of the space, we intentionally placed sculpture and design elements to question, what’s design and what’s art?

For the Gotham Point residential complex in Long Island City, Standard Arts carefully selected artworks for maximum impact and to appeal to each space’s intended use.

The final works reflect a diversity of artist backgrounds and include both pre-existing artworks and site-specific original commissions to best respond to the particulars of the space and audience.

The Gotham Point towers emerge from Hunter’s Point South Park, a new 10-acre park that lines the Long Island City waterfront. The buildings were designed to embrace the park as much as possible, with indoor/outdoor spaces that spill into the landscaping, and an interiors approach based on the park and surrounding waterfront landscape.

To that end, Standard Arts proposed a series of artworks that took inspiration from the exterior and interior architecture as well as the adjacent parkland and waterfront.

For this striking project, Standard Arts was engaged to curate a range of artworks for the lobbies and amenity spaces across both towers.

Gotham Point is a million-square-foot development on the waterfront of the Hunter’s Point South neighborhood in Queens, completed in 2023.

The two-tower complex was developed by Gotham Organization and designed by award-winning architecture firm
