I have always loved being a visitor in another world. But nothing prepared me for the wonder of
7,908 this morning, two weeks ago. We left at 7am in
101 the hope of maybe seeing mantarays at a "cleaning station" where small fish swim inside the gills and mouths of mantas, ridding them of parasites that live there.
As we arrived at the potential 25 spot, we noticed the water was full of plankton and suddenly we were surrounded by mantas. We jumped in with snorkels and a dance of uncommon beauty unfolded. I have seen many wonderful creatures below the surface of the sea, and I have come to expect a brief and wondrous sighting before the creature disappears into a realm whither I cannot follow. But on this day, us ungainly land dwellers got to breathe and frolic in the slipstream of these magnificent creatures and wonder at their majesty for an hour or more. Thank you and for the most astonishing of days.

It's over and out to four amazing years in Prague. We had a stupendous party to say goodbye and, most importantly, thank you - to Mother Prague, whose claws will always be in us, and to all the people we met in this great city who taught us, played with us and gave us their time and friendship.
We held a game, a "wild duck hunt" in Stromovka park, and this was my call to end the chase. Dekuji.
