Kids Link Our goal is to get kids and parents to join us daily for group video get togethers. Video chats with story time, art, games, math/phonics and just chill time!

A place for kids to be with their friends and make new ones during these hard times.

Parents :

- Help your child find 5 objects around the house, Toys would work too. Make sure they can show them clearly on zoom!
- Say the name of the object out loud. What sound does it start with?
Examples :
Shoe- starts with the “shhhh” sound
Paper- starts with the “ppp” sound
Train- starts with the “tttt” sound

We will take turns sharing the object, what it’s called, and the sound it starts with. This increasing phonemic awareness and is a very important pre-reading skill.

Mondays - physical activities / dance / yoga / exercise.
Tuesdays - Story Time / Games
Wednesdays - Phonics / Reading
Thursdays - Math
Fridays - TBD.

We did a science experiment about germs!

How to:
Fill a bowl with water
Pour pepper
Take 1 finger and show how pepper (germs) wont go away!
Take another finger, put dish soap on it and put into the bowl and watch as ALL germs move away :)

Today was A LOT OF FUN! We learned phonics (thanks to Sebis mom for teaching). All the kids did very well! We learned about germs and how to clean them and we watch a video about opposites! Join us next week as we may have some cool surprise guests! Have a great weekend!!
