In order to cultivate the conversations that ask us to confront more of our relationships with kin and culture, we have to feel safe and seen in the spaces we’re placed in. Our friends at offers the perfect safe space for our Gentle Beginnings dinner this weekend. Our Family Style dinners have come a long way. From a small gathering squeezed into our apartment to a potluck thanksgiving in a BK loft, and now, an elevated dinner at coffeeshop. He’s working diligently to create an abundant and versatile tasting menu that encompasses various flavors akin to many Asian cuisines you may be familiar with.

Our very first NYSU event of 2023 is a special one! We’re continuing the Lunar New Year celebrations and hosting a more exquisite family style dinner — yes, we’ve come a long way since our potluck days 🥲

This Lunar New Year dinner is in partnership with our friends and features heartmade dishes specially prepared by local chefs .overeasy and . This one-of-a-kind experience includes a slew of activations that highlights everything the Year of the Rabbit/Cat represents: gentleness, patience, kindness, ambition, and love.
