Welcome to the wall Christopher Ge

Christopher Ge, Chinese artist based in the UK, working across painting, installation and material experimentation. The work sits with memory, displacement and belonging, shaped by the move from Hubei to Britain, putting Chinese shanshui traditions in conversation with Western abstraction. Oil paint, resin, glass, wood and canvas, used to push a painting off the wall and into the room. The question underneath it all: when is a painting no longer just a painting? Trained at Camberwell, Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art.

Welcome to the wall Pooki Art🌻

Self taught illustrator making colourful, story led hand drawn work about everyday life. People, animals, cafes, homes, travel moments. A natural observer drawn to the small things that usually go unnoticed, the moods and the emotions and the memories tied to them. She drew as a child, then spent over ten years building a career in finance, and the creative side never went anywhere. Now she is back where it always felt like home, and the best compliment she gets is someone smiling at a painting because it reminded them of something.

Welcome to the wall hittersdontmiss

There is a visual unease running through these drawings. Warm and purely beautiful never came naturally, and the work has always arrived during the harder stretches, as much a way of enduring as expressing. The body became the language. It started with n**e drawing, repeated observation, forms and movement, then a fashion background changed how it was seen. Now the body gets edited and rebuilt through composition, texture, material and styling, so the figures land beautiful and unfamiliar at the same time. Discomfort is never the intention. It is just what happens when something unseeable is given a physical form.

Welcome to the wall Kristýna Dohnálková

Prague based painter working in acrylic, oil and dry pastel. The work is built on contrast, colourful and playful on the surface with darker symbolism underneath, and the third eye running through it as a marker of intuition and inner vision. She paints herself as a mystical doll, a way into identity, vulnerability and transformation. Her current collection, Proměny, sits in the space between innocence and darkness, vulnerability and strength.
