It’s wild how motherhood gives you a second childhood.
You start noticing ants again.
Singing silly songs.
Splashing in puddles.
Science calls it connection.
I call it remembering how to feel alive again.
Motherhood pulls you back
into the small wonders
you forgot to see.
You slow down.
You breathe deeper.
You laugh at things
you once rushed past.
Your child becomes your teacher,
guiding you back to joy,
to curiosity,
to softness.
Somewhere in the chaos,
you rediscover pieces of yourself
you did not know you lost.
That is the magic
only motherhood can restore.
