Music on the Bruce is a new concert series dedicated to performances in communities on and around the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada.

We are so excited to announce that we have been awarded THREE grants for the 2026 festival season! We gratefully acknowledge the support of:

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to all the individual donors who continue to support MOTB. Our annual festival could not happen without your generosity!

MOTB 2026 runs from Aug. 24-30, 2026 in Bruce Peninsula communities. Stay tuned for more news and details about what’s coming this summer!

Happy March 1 everyone! Spring is just around the corner, and plans are in the works for MOTB’s summer concerts 2026! Our sixth season will include the world premiere of a brand new song for string quartet and voice, being composed as we speak! Stay tuned…

Happy back-to-school everyone! Summer is over, but many great memories still linger. We are so happy to share one with you: our live performance of Talivaldis Kenins String Trio at St. John’s United, Wiarton, Sunday August 23.

Kenins was a prolific Latvian/Canadian composer, who spent summers composing, and enjoying the natural beauty locally, at his family cottage in Big Bay! We love his string teio, written in 1989.
