Today marks our fifth birthday, a significant milestone in our journey as a company, as collaborators, and as artists. Since our founding on November 5, 2019, our creative paths have evolved, yet our commitment to artistic collaboration remains unchanged. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built as Exit 11 and grateful for the unwavering support of friends, mentors, and fellow artists along the way.
Highlights from our first five years:
-6 original productions, including our COVID production of The Bacchae as well as Medea at Taipei Fringe Festival.
-Curating Peripheries, a visual arts exhibition in Eindhoven, Netherlands featuring the work of our VICE artists
-3 educational programs (VICE and GRIT) focused on artist development and collaboration
-Partnerships with renowned institutions including The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi, Art Jameel, Taipei Performing Arts Center, National Taiwan University, Temporary Art Centre, Postscript Magazine, and Taipei Shorts
-Collaborations with 75+ artists from 25+ countries
Building on our success over the last year, we plan to begin offering training in the Viewpoints method in the near future and develop a new production for Taipei Fringe Festival 2025 as we continue to grow our presence in the city.
