This morning, while listening to Blackface's "E Dey Hurt Me," I once again sadly realized how unjust life can be. One of the finest musical talents Nigeria has ever seen is Blackface, according to those who have followed Nigerian music since the late 1990s.

Man has established himself as a musical prodigy ever since his "Plantashun Boiz" days with 2baba & Faze. He wrote more than 90% of the group's songs in his capacity as their leader. Yeah, 90%!

He continued to produce hit after hit even after the group broke up. Hits from his first solo album, "Ghetto Child," including "Hardlife," "E Dey Hurt Me," "Carry Us," and "Show me the Way," among others.

His monster hit, "Evergreen," was released on his sophomore album.
