I've been a bit busy with some other adventures but I wanted to say hi to some new friends and give a little intro to myself and a quick update as to what I've been up to!

I'm Annie, a Virtual Assistant for professional organizers as well as a performer!

🌎I’m an avid traveler and have been to 55 countries

💃🏼I am currently performing as Lou Ann in the Broadway National Tour of Hairspray the Musical traveling all across the US!

There are 3 things every professional organizer should have as a part of their biz:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- a consultation process: this is VITAL in making sure you’re getting the right kind of clients but it also allows you to ask questions and know what your client wants/needs. It also helps you set expectations and sets you up for success.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- a blog: I’m so passionate about blogging because not only is it a great way to share value with your audience (aka future and potential clients) but it can give you a huge boost in SEO and help your website perform better!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
- an email list: again, this is a great way to connect with your audience and ENGAGE with them! You can give great tips, value, AND show off some awesome transformations. A monthly (at least) newsletter is a great way to remind your audience about your amazing and life-changing services!

Before and after pictures can do wonders but having these 3 things in your business is ESSENTIAL to your success and growth!

It's a new month! Try these to increase your productivity:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💡Prioritize 3 things you HAVE do that day and then list another few you COULD start but don’t need to complete.
💡Do the hardest or biggest task FIRST so you can get the most challenging or time consuming thing out of the way. Then move on to what’s easier or what will take less time.
💡Alternate between hard and easy tasks to give yourself workload breaks.

Spoiler alert 🚨(but not really):

I’ve been MIA on Instagram for about 6 weeks (no lies, check the feed for my most recent post from HALLOWEEN ✌🏼🤦🏼‍♀️)

It doesn’t mean I haven’t been working. It just means my priorities had to shift for a bit and, as usual for me, my social media was the first to go.

The last six weeks have been filled with rehearsals, fake eyelashes, being back on stage performing for the first time in over 2 years (more to come on that later), managing my clients so that they still receive the best service, and exploring new places.

I’ll continue to be in and out until the new year but don’t be surprised if I pop on here to brag about visiting Lake Tahoe on my days off 😍

Does anyone else feel like the little hamster on the wheel in their head just won’t stop running?

As a business owner and a VA, there is always something to do. Ideas to brainstorm, projects to get ahead on, clients to check in with. I find it really hard sometimes to focus on the task at hand or to find some downtime to take a step back and just be a person again.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you feel like you struggle with this too, what is one thing you can do today to slow down, take a step back, and give that hamster in your head a break?
