I loved these thoughtful questions. Thank you Bartek

She's here. 💕
DELIGHTFULLY is out today — all 14 original jazz songs, written for the way we actually live, love, and connect right now. After a summer of releasing one song every Friday, the full album arrives today with three brand new tracks. Thank you for being on this journey with me.

One of the things I love most about music is what can happen when the right people come together — even for the very first time.

Last Saturday at Montclair Porch Fest, we did an easy-breezy one-hour set. This is my original "Be Kind" (which I wrote back in 2000) with an ensemble that had never played together before. No rehearsal. No run-through. Just six skilled and soulful musicians trusting each other and the music, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. (and of course, charts to read the songs) - We had a lovely time!

Yvonnick Prene – Harmonica
Sergio Pereira – Guitar
Steve Sandberg – Piano
Adrian Moring – Bass
Daniel Glass – Drums
(Yours Truly on Vocals)

This was the very first song of the set, and the connection was immediate. And a special shoutout to Daniel, who spent his birthday behind the kit making this happen.

Montclair Porch Fest is one of those beautiful community events that remind you why live music out in the community matters.
