Every year the creators of Jabari Dreams of Freedom volunteer with and a group of individual artists to host a Holiday Literacy Party for homeless youth. This year the Holiday Literacy Party for Homeless Children is on Thursday, December 22 at The Grand Slam Ballroom in New York City on 145 street and Broadway from 5-10. We will be servicing children age 5-12 years old. You can help by donating or volunteering (reach out to Benja Kay Thomas if you want to volunteer!) Help us to bring a smile to these beautiful children's faces. Thank you and Happy Holidays! 🙂

Welp it's a WRAP!!!!! Everyone...the 2021-2022 cast of Jabari Dreams of Freedom TOUR would like to thank everyone who has supported this show and this process. We would like to thank Rantea Thompson and Michaella Craver, our stage managers for their extremely hard work and guiding this tour along from state to state with Grace...accuracy & a spirit of determination I have NEVER experienced We love you guys. We would like to give special thanks to our brilliant director Daniel Carlton whose creativity kept us on our toes lol but for the best reasons you are now my acting dad and I thank you for everything you have installed in each and everyone of us. Now the lady of the hour... Nambi E. Kelley I don't know if you know but you're amazing you're spectacular you're a gem you're a blueprint for Black women who playwright...you're the moment and I'm so happy God saw it fit for us to meet. I'll say it once and I'll say it again thank you for changing my life, you mean more than the world to me. You are gonna be blessed beyond your years and you deserve all of it. Overall this tour was a SUCCESS I'm so proud to have been a part of this and gained a new family of ppl I will keep a part of my life forever. As I venture on to my next journey I take all the lessons and experiences I have had here and apply it to my life and my work ethic.
