Move Ya Body: The Birth of House is a hybrid documentary from director Elegance Bratton that explores how house music came out of Chicago after the backlash of Disco Demolition Night in 1979.

The film connects Q***r Black, Brown, and femme dance culture to the rise of a sound that went on to shape music around the world. ***r
