If you loved Accidental Intimacies, check out F**KT by Playwright Emma Goldman-Sherman at The Tank. She has written an eviscerating and honest play about the aftermath of abuse, and the versions of ourself we become to survive. We can’t say enough great things about the writing, the direction by Janice L. Goldberg, and the ACTORS! Bridget Ann White was a commanding anchor as adult Emma, Julia Mack was electric as the complicated Barbara, and Eileen Sugameli held the dark chaos of a child trying to survive in Bobbi. 100% recommend to everyone, and 150% recommend to drama therapists, or any therapist really. Only two more weeks!!

MEET THE CAST: Leah Lundin Hall (she/her), our M.

Q: How do you relate to your role (or not)?
A: I think there's a little bit of M in all of us. Someone trying desperately to follow their dreams and passions, but life keeps dealing them new challenges. There's also a lot about M that none of us can relate to. In this play, M exhibits more strength and grace than I think most people could even fathom. Personally, I relate to her spirit of independence, her sense of humor, and her stubborn persistence in pushing herself to keep going.

Q: In ACCIDENTAL INTIMACIES, “M” is supported by the icons she grew up idolizing. Who were/are your icons?
A: Billie Eilish is everything to me. Growing up, I idolized Kristen Chenoweth. Still do, really. I also am a big fan of my mom.

Q: People need to see ACCIDENTAL INTIMACIES because...
A: Besides just bearing witness to a beautiful piece of art, people have to hear this story. Absolutely have to. It's hard to describe the play using just text, but to mince words, it is a complex exposé on s*x work which people desperately need to hear and learn from. I promise you, if you are not a s*x worker, this play is required viewing for you to be a better human. But it is also the story of an unbelievable woman. It's a story of insistent resilience, feminist revolution, and raw personal rebirth. It's educational, it's inspiring, and it's necessary.

Q: Describe ACCIDENTAL INTIMACIES in 8 words.
A: 8 words?! Oh geez. "A poetic revolution of feminism and radical healing"
