🏍️ OFFICIAL COTEE RIVER BIKE FEST UPDATE 🏍️
First and foremost, THANK YOU.
The amount of understanding and support we received after our post this morning was incredible, and we truly appreciate everyone who took the time to comment, message us and show their support.
After continuing to monitor the forecast and everything that comes along with it, we have made the decision to officially reschedule the 20th Anniversary of Cotee River Bike Fest to January 15th, 16th & 17th, 2027.
We know some of you are definitely bummed out. We are too.
We also know that a lot of people have already committed their time, made plans, scheduled trips and built their weekend around being here. Without all of you doing exactly that year after year, Cotee River Bike Fest wouldn't be what it is today.
But please understand that there is a lot more involved in this decision than simply looking at whether or not it's going to rain.
We have to consider everyone riding motorcycles into New Port Richey, our vendors loading in and setting up for an entire weekend, multiple stages and production crews, dozens of bands and performers, staff, sponsors, volunteers and everyone else involved in putting an event of this size together. Even beyond safety, a weekend of repeatedly stopping performances, fighting weather, dealing with soaked grounds and putting everyone through difficult setup conditions isn't the experience we want to deliver for the 20th Anniversary.
The good news? January is already coming together extremely well.
Our vendors, bands and everyone involved have been incredibly responsive, and we're already seeing commitments come in quickly for the new dates. At this point, we don't anticipate seeing much change from what was originally planned for this weekend.
And now we've got a few extra months to see what else we can build into this thing. 🤘
Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing updates, announcements and everything you need to know heading into January.
If you have questions about the lineup, vendors, the Poker Run, contests, schedules or anything else connected to the weekend, don't worry. We will address everything with plenty of time to make sure everyone is completely in the know before January arrives.
Again, thank you for the incredible amount of understanding and support today. It means a lot to everyone involved in making this event happen.
Stay safe this weekend, and we'll see you January 15th, 16th & 17th, 2027 for the 20th Anniversary of Cotee River Bike Fest.
Maybe we'll just have to make it even bigger now. 😉
