Casell Bergen Gallery is an online art gallery created in the sixties by the Spanish artist Joaquim Casell; Mr. Joaquim Casell became a master of Oil Pastels in the Impressionism and Expressionism styles. In the Eighties, the socialite Margarita Bergen took the path of this gallery, and she incorporated prints and posters into our inventory. Margarita is a long-time French Quarter resident; she was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to Crescent City in the seventies after living in New York. If you haven’t met Margarita Bergen, you probably haven’t been to a New Orleans party in the past 30 years. A couple of years before the Pandemic, Kino Vera assumed the leadership of Casell - Bergen Gallery opening the business to worldwide artists. He decided to move the gallery to an online business following the international tendencies of the art business.
