Friday night at IDFNOLA brings artists from around the world together in New Orleans. 🌎

Join us **Friday, September 11** for an afternoon of dance on film followed by our **International Mixed Bill**, featuring five artists representing Louisiana and the international dance community.

**4:00–5:30 PM | Dance for Camera Workshop + Screening | FREE**

Then at 7:30 PM, experience five artists and five distinct voices in one performance:

✨ Meet Carina Kroff, Producer of the International Dance Festival New Orleans.

Carina helps bring IDFNOLA from vision to reality. She coordinates communication between our artists, production team, and CAC partners, oversees technical schedules, meetings, rehearsals, and artist needs, manages contracts and budgets, and designs and manages our website, ticketing platform, and festival program.

Her work reaches far beyond festival week. Carina helped curate our 2026 festival and has spent this year building relationships with artists and dance communities around the world, including travels to Chile, Argentina, and Canada as we look ahead to 2027 and 2028.

At the heart of her work is creating sustainable connections between New Orleans and the global dance community through performances, residencies, and public programming.

Carina is a dancer, choreographer, arts administrator, and producer with a B.F.A. in Dance and B.A. in International Relations from Tulane University. This fall, she will begin her master’s in Arts Administration and Policy at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Join us September 10–13 in New Orleans for four unforgettable days of performances, dance films, workshops, conversations, and community.

🇫🇷✨ A new work. A new collaboration. A world premiere.

This September, the International Dance Festival New Orleans proudly presents AT DAWN, a brand-new work by acclaimed French choreographer Aina Alegre, commissioned especially for IDFNOLA.

Developed in collaboration with New Orleans dancers and brass musicians, AT DAWN is more than a performance; it’s an artistic exchange. Rooted in the rhythms and traditions of New Orleans while shaped through Aina Alegre’s contemporary choreographic voice, the work celebrates what becomes possible when artists from different cultures create together.

This international collaboration was made possible with support from Villa Albertine and the Albertine Foundation through the FUSED (French United States Exchange in Dance) program, which fosters creative partnerships between France and the United States.
