Jack’s fall break was absolutely perfect in every way. We did corn mazes, pumpkin patches, historic reenactments, saw family and friends and enjoyed some time in our church. Couldn’t have asked for more. Now we are back home and I am redirecting my focus to a multitude of things, from art to furniture to business ventures. As always, a full plate here but what’s the point of dreaming if it isn’t B I G.

Today we are transporting our two fosters to their forever homes, just an 8 hour detour on our way to Indiana for Jack’s Fall Break. Originally we were due to be in Asheville, NC to grab an amazing artists’ work but due to the absolute destruction caused by the hurricane we are rescheduling - luckily for the artist, they are safe and so are their work but with no access to clean water or supplies “safe” is a relative term. Please check on Asheville artists and see ways you can support from afar.

Please welcome Aldi and Piggly Wiggly to the program yall! Fresh out the hoarding situation, freshly bathed and fixed these non-bonded pair of long haired chihuahuas are so sweet and ready for their furever home(s)!! Aldi, 2-3 year old male is HW- and just under 3lbs. Timid but friendly! Piggly Wiggly is a 10mo female is also HW- and just about 3 pounds, less timid and loves all the pets from the kids. Took a little multi-purpose trip to Florida over the weekend- drove to Tampa to pick up a lift for our pool (yay ADA) we also took some time to look at antique shops to furnish one of the rooms at the house we have been working on for too long…but also, and most importantly, to celebrate Cyrus’s birthday!! We are very hopeful for a more relax and successful year than the one before. I absolutely love this human so much.
