Testing the new [2021] superpowers in a couple of clicks:

What it took me HOURS of work cropping ten years ago now takes anything from a click to a couple of minutes thanks to AI.

Still, it's helpful to know how to work in an “old school” fashion since you don't always get perfect images to work with in a project.

But, if you work in advertising or are a photographer yourself and have access to “great” quality images, the chances of getting things done with one click increases; however, if you are a scavenger-like artist (like me) that works with almost any kind of material I find, knowing HOW TO do the same things in different techniques (old way/new way) will allow you to work “meh” quality images masterfully.

This is a straightforward “3 image” : I mixed the built-in “remove background” feature with path cropping for the main subject, cut the flock of birds with channels, and cropped a couple of elements from the background with lasso tool.
