𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧?
Plastic pollution happens when plastic items—like bottles, bags, and wrappers—are not thrown away properly. Instead, they end up in nature, such as in parks, rivers, and oceans.
Why, is it a problem?
🐟Animals can get hurt by plastic. They might accidentally eat small pieces or get tangled up in plastic items.
☣️Plastic doesn’t break down easily, so it stays in the environment for a very long time.
How do factories contribute?
🥽Factories create many of the plastic items we use every day.
🗑️Sometimes, factories produce extra plastic waste that isn’t used and becomes trash.
⚠️In addition to plastic waste, some factories release chemicals that can pollute the air, water, and soil.
In summary:
The extra waste and chemicals from industrial production add to the problem of plastic pollution. When these harmful materials mix with nature, they make the environment unsafe for plants, animals, and people.
