Cecilia Villar Eljuri is a revered storyteller and genre fuser. She is a leading Latina artivist living in NYC who tours internationally with her stellar band sharing her music and message of empowerment. Touted as one
of the top Latina electric guitar players in the world, Eljuri navigates through the musical landscapes of her Ecuadorian, Spanish and Lebanese heritage all presented with an elegant and socially conscious voice. As a musical activist for Immigrant and Women’s Rights, Eljuri has her guitar strings and voice on the pulse of some of the most timely issues that echo through our communities.
