Storyville Rising is an immersive theatrical cabaret, aimed at exploring the multi-layered and multi-faceted history of New Orleans’ famed red light district. Attendees will be ushered into a Storyville-era brothel, with, live performance, ambient, roving characters, theatrically staged interludes, speciality cocktails and event specific merchandising, tailored to create an encompassing audience e

xperience. Storyville Rising is the creation of Kali von Wunderkammer, of New Orleans’ Freaksheaux to Geaux and Kali’s Cabinet of Curiosities, (Producer) and International Cabaret Performer and co-founder of Circus Contraption, Armitage Shanks, The Carny Preacher (Artistic Director). Jesse Belle-Jones of Seattle's Sinner Saint Burlesque is assistant producer. The event will take place Oct 4th and 5th at the fabulous Cafe Istanbul.
